We’re glad that you are interested in applying to Ghars Bilingual School, we offer a bilingual education for the following stages:
Kindergarten Stage:( PK to KG2)
Elementary Stage: (G1-G5)
Middle School: (G6-G8)
High School: (G9-G12).
School depends on:
- Curriculum in Arabic language for the following subjects (Arabic language, Islamic Studies, Holy Quran and Social Studies).
- Extracurricular programs supporting Arabic language and Islamic Studies.
- Curriculum for memorizing and understanding the Holy Quran.
-Modern American curriculum following the Common Core Standards (CCS) to achieve foundational skills in reading,
writing in English and math.
- Adopting Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for the science curriculum.
-A distinguished educational staff that includes a group of experienced and competent people who have the ability to cope with the rapid changes in the field of education.
- A safe learning environment that cares for students' psychological,social and academic needs.
- A distinguished school building (library,indoor and outdoor playgrounds,indoor swimming pools,science laboratories and Art room).
- Non-mixed classes for all stages except kindergarten stage.
- Modern educational tools that are compatible with modern technological development.
- Interest in the different recreational and social activities.
- Official holidays are compatible with the Ministry of Education.

1-Please note the following:
- The admission priority is given to brothers and sisters of our students.
- Fill in the application form to register a new student and attach the required official documents.
- Depending on vacancies, interview and assessment exam will be set.
- Passing the interview and assessment exam are conditions for acceptance in the Kindergarten.
- Students must pass the assessment exam in English and Mathematics to identify the academic level of the student and his ability to keep up with the requirements of the curriculum we offer.
- Upon admission, a registration fee of 100 KD can’t be refunded or transferred (according to the Ministry of Education's and Private Education Regulations) and are deducted from the tuition fees.
- Receiving to whom it may concern letter stating that your child is accepted in Ghars. This letter will be needed for transferring his/her file from the previous school to Ghars.
- The school does not accept students with special needs,
who suffer from slow learning or mental disability or severe psychological problems ... etc who require special educational needs.
- According to the instructions of the Ministry of Education,the father must be present in person to register the student. In the case of the death of the father (death certificate is required). In the case of divorce,a judgment from the court needed proving that the mother has custody of education.
2-The Required Documents for Registration
1. Birth and vaccinations certificates (original and a copy of it).
2. The civil ID of the student and the parent (original and a copy of it).
3. Nationality Certificate of the father and a copy of it (for Kuwaitis).
4. Non-Kuwaiti students: copy of the passport of the student and the father and the residence (visa) page.
5. 4 personal photos of the student.
6. The last two academic certificates (when applying) and a copy.
7. Certificate of transfer from the previous school.
8. The medical file from the previous school or a make medical file for the new student from the clinic of the housing area.
Note:
The student affairs must receive items No.7&8 before the beginning of the academic year in order to complete the enrollment procedures of the child and to include his/her name in the class lists. Otherwise, the student will not be officially registered in the school.
